Separate community path

Community Building

Tell us the problem. You do not need to know the solution.

Each month, ALME sets aside a small portion of its capacity to support schools, community organizations, nonprofits and other suitable institutions across Jamaica.

What selected projects may receive

Selected projects may receive donated or significantly reduced design and labour support, depending on scope, feasibility and available resources. Materials, transport, specialist trades and other third-party costs are assessed individually.

What kinds of problems?

Storage, small repairs, workspaces, classrooms, productive outdoor spaces, gardens, composting, growing infrastructure, benches, planters, displays and other practical problems where thoughtful design and making could help.

How selection works

Submissions are reviewed based on community impact, feasibility, urgency, available resources, fit with ALME’s capabilities and potential for useful lasting value. Selection is not guaranteed.

Commercial enquiries stay on the Start a Project path. This programme uses its own public application.
